What is a warning sign that you might not be destined to be a miniature wargamer?

Inability to stay focused on a single project…um, wait…

When someone says "flank", you think "steak".

You finish what you start….

You're invited to a wargame, but there's a sports event on TV.

You purchase a small item and throw away the packaging.

You buy green scouring pads and the only use you can find them is scouring something.

When you hear the word, "lead" you think of fishing line weights.

When someone says Tiger, you think of India

You ask, "Well, when do you have enough minis?"

You lack a strong opinion about whether or not a fireball spell is the same thing as a salvo of AK-47 fire.

You don't understand how the "quick start" rules can be over fifty pages.

Someone says something wrong about your forces and you just let it go.

Wargamer = Warmonger

…if you're worried about the cost.

…if you think a handful of dice is enough.

…if you think one set of rules is just as good as another.

…if you don't particularly care what color the facings are painted.

…if someone puts down some 14th century Landsknechtes with 15th century halberds for War of the Roses game and you don't notice.

When you are not tempting to buy a painted army because it is just too much money!

When you see a 4x6 table meticulously landscaped and wonder: Where is the train?

…if you think Hannibal was just that guy in that movie who ate some people.

No, no, no, no, no …. This is wargaming, but it is unclear whether it is the USS Hannibal, one of a half-dozen or so HMS Hannibals or possibly from the cadre of French ships named Annibal…

Though, I may not be a credentialed wargaming source. I got a 20% on Andrew Walter's pH test, only because while I am cheap, I don't worry about the cost.

No matter what you say about inclusivity and diversity, those guys aren't real wargamers.

You're under 30 and/or think that the RAF beat Napoleon's Luftwaffe at Waterloo.

If your unpainted stash of figures does not larger than your painted units. If you can hold back from purchasing new shiny figures in a new period.
