Rough way to go.

I'd have said being 67, having lived a rough life and living in the 18th Century would about do it. His half-brother Lawrence died at 34. His cousin William just made 68. Daniel Morgan died at 67. Steuben was 64. Nathaniel Greene was still in his 40's.

We can't all be Benjamin Franklin.

George was another case of "death by expert medical treatment," a remarkably common cause that is still widely practiced.

TVAG's right, of course. He might have survived a single doctor, but not a committee of them at his age.

George Washington is still alive, and hiding in Mexico.

Argentina, not Mexico. Along with Hitler and Elvis.
(On a side note, "Boys from Brazil" was a pretty good movie last time I watched it.)

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Oswald. Or Lord North.
