Has anyone ever tried to adapt the SPI game "CA" (1973) to miniatures?

Wow. Talk about a blast from the past. I played that a lot like, 50 years ago. I learned more about orders of battle from that game than from any books I could get my hands on. Not that they were perfect though. Never could figure out why they had Maryland tacked on to the fast battleship force in their beefed up Ten-Go scenario. [edit] It was not the Ten-Go scenario. It was a hypothetical.

Wish I still had the rules. Worth a thought!

Yeeeeeeeears ago, I used the map to conduct a mini campaign. CA for strategic movement. Seapower II for the naval tactical dimension. AH Guadalcanal for the land.

I 0layed against my brother during one of his Christmas visits. It didn't proceed very far.

i love this idea of converting wargames to miniatures – as well as CA i would like to know if the Simcan game Kriegsmarine could be converted also though i guess one has to include Torpedo with it

and that other simcan title Battleship interests me too
