I sold off my 15mm Jacobite collection to redo it in 25mm. For quite some time I contemplated using the Old Glory line to do this. The time seemed right, so off I go. I am making good progress. I love the variety of poses.

Looks brilliant and I like your use of the fur for the Scottish moor. I did the opposite of you. I started at 25mm (Old Glory mostly) and bumped down to 15mm (also OG). Plaid can be tricky. My project has languished but this is inspirational. Thanks!

Haven't seen these figures. Are they true 25mm or just mis-labelled 28mm figures.

Jim;
These are 28mm figures. I have quite a few.

Smaller than Flags of War, bigger than true 25mm.

The Jacobites are quite nice. Next year's Defence Budget has me getting the Hanoverians to oppose them.

I applaud your step UP! Also to see more interest in the fascinating period and conflict(s).

I like the Front Rank range myself, but my Jacobite armies are now vintage and include all sorts of figures from all sorts of companies, many of which are no longer in production. And when I began seriously (mid-80s), there was very little available to choose from, in any scale.

I was obliged to force into service mostly Seven Years War British troops (mostly MiniFigs) and all manner of Scots, some from ECW ranges, some from SYW ranges, some older MiniFigs from their long-defunct Jacobite range; eventually I was able to replace some less desirable castings with better ones. But to this day, it can be a challenge to obtain some of the more off-brand figures (e.g., Baggot's Hussars) and good Commanders, or civilians, or proper artillery. But it can be done.

Then you have the fun of painting all those tartans! Go for it!

BTW, what rules are you using?

Here's a few more, from the last Jacobite game I held (yow, back in 2019!) A bitter struggle between the rebels and the government. I can't recall why the Argyll Militia got marked with a wee white bunny at one point -- possibly because they ran like rabbits from the MacGregors.
