hey folks!

last Labor Day weekend I attended Pacificon in California. It was a great time. As we all like convention reports, here's mine.

Lots of pics to share:

I bet some TMPers were there as well. Take a look why not?
If you're near by the Bay Area, I heartily recommend Pacificon.

Nice report. Your Regimental Fire and Fury game looked great.

Thanks Big Red. My game was one of many nicely presented games. Fun to play too. 😀

The only official convention games I played were Sky's the Limit! (WW2 dogfights -- super fun) and Bolt Action Vietnam, in which my partner and I wore down the American invaders using what I think were pretty good Viet Cong tactics.

OK, shooting down the Huey gunship with a RPG was satisfying but maybe not entirely realistic.

I also played Dune (not Dune Imperium), my new favorite Dune board game. And I got into a 1982 game of Europeans and Chinese fighting on Mars, which was old-school map-and-counters fun.

Cool. Glad to hear someone else here on TMP a good time. 😀

Great looking show Stew, and thanks for your report and pics!

Thanks FlyX. How'd your find my attempt at McPherson's Ridge? 😀
I'll say it was the BEST game of ACW at the con (it was the only one).

It looks fantastic!

You have many talents – and juggling your family duties while still doing fine/fun game work makes it all the more impressive.

Get those kids painting up stuff too, and there's a hobby consortium a-comin'…… :)

Lol. Thanks man. Appreciate it. 😀

The main effect of family is that it takes me months to create something that others could do in weeks.
