Just an idle musing – what do people think is the most expensive wargame figure. I'm sort of assuming it is something from GW, but maybe it is a limited print resin of some huge figure… Like : Archmage Teclis and Celennar, Spirit of Hysh Which is £110.00 GBP Not interested in painted figures, or auctions of OOP items, I'm specifically thinking of something that has a jaw-dropping catalogue price! Any ideas? |

Which, to be fair, is cheap compared to Khan-wrath war demon from mierce miniatures…. Only £174.99 GBP |

@D6 Junkie very quick in with what is surely the winner! Disturbingly it is temporarily out of stock, which suggests they've sold quite a few of these… ….to which I can only say "wow" (and it is – what? – another $600 USD+ for the weapons! double wow – "wow wow") |

Which is not to imply a criticism in any way – people spend thousands on watches and golf bats and the like, so why not wargame stuff if that's what they want? |

Really wasn't heading off down the "value for money" highway, that's well trod already. It was just a fleeting thought about just how much a wargame figure might be. Upwards of $2,500 USD is the answer I guess. |

A better question: What is the most YOU have paid for an unpainted, not out of print, miniature? |

  Well, it's a different question…. |

I don't really consider the Forge World piece to be a gaming miniature. Are people playing games with 2 foot tall mech models that cost two grand apiece? |

Are people playing games with 2 foot tall mech models that cost two grand apiece? The answer would appear to be "yes" link |

Fantasy figures can run really high as we have seen. I would be interested in knowing what the most expensive historical figure would be. |

I'd be interested in who company makes the most expensive average, regular man-sized figure- on average. |

That picture of the titans is pretty amazing when you think of it – ok they aren't all the biggest titans but that game must have used $50,000 USD+ worth of figures. Impressive. |
