I have read through some of the forum posts on here of people snipping their Old Glory 10mm strips. For those of you who have snipped them what are your tips and tricks? How do you cut your strips?

I have two peninsular war armies of British and French. I am debating on the long arduous process of cutting and rebasing them with some as single soldiers mixed with some Pendraken 10mm.

I know it will take some finagling but I am happy to kitbash them.

I set the strip on a flat cutting board and use an xacto knife, holding the blade perpendicular to the strip and pressing down until it cuts through. Always works for me. You might have to rock the blade back and forth a little.

I typically use a pair of nippers and cut the base first (between two figures) with a snip in the front and a snip in the back. It may still be connected a bit and I carefully twist to break where I want. If I wanted to be more careful, I'd use an Xacto for the final step in lieu of the twist.
