I would like to build up two armies (with several factions) for the Wars between italian states before 1494, should I mix lighter cavalry in between my heaviest men at arms? I will use 12 cm bases, so it should be identifiable

cheers

I wouldn't. The Gendarmes fought in a single rank with ‘lesser' men at arms of their lance in line behind them.

Thanx for the Info. I guess I will use deep bases so I can represent two lines of cav.
