Yes, it looks like a Mauser to me as well. I believe Churchill carried one during his early years.

A-ha! It all makes so much more sense, particularly with the other figures he was attached when Brigade Games announced their release. It all seemed pretty random without context.

I went down the rabbit hole with the Soviet SV-8 agent for Pulp and that idea appears to be exploding for that game.
