Battle of Kamala Oasis
This hasty battle was a playtest of the new charts it is less detailed than I usually make but it will do for now.
The French have landed and Napoleon has tasked Gen Dumas and Murat to seize the vital water source for the drive on Alexandria. The Local Pasha Lardo Bey has organized his household troops to repel the Infidels. General Dumas and his division have arrived at the Oasis and begins his assault supported by Murats Dragoons. The French artillery make short work of the Mameluke guns leaving the cavalry no support in the advance on the French line. The Mamelukes launch a series of cavalry charges against the French forces but are repulsed by the superior French tactics unaccustomed to modern warfare they throw piecemeal attacks against the French hoping to run the infantry down who easily repulse them and drive them from the field.
