I have just finished it. It was very entertaining and seemed quite good on detail However, the last episode which included Waterloo perpetrated some of the old legends such as Wellington's surprise at the Duchess of Richmond's Ball and the Prussians in black. No mention of Dutch disobedience securing Quatre Bras and there was some weird story of the French pulling Blucher out from under his horse at Ligny and sending him on his way! However, all in all it was entertaining and ideal background while painting Napoleonics. |
