"Wild West Exodus?" Topic

Did this game system ever take off where you are at? I've seen a number of boxed figure sets in various local gaming stores, but I've never seen a game, or even an assembled figure out of the box. I'm afraid to use them as Weird West fodder because they look like they would dwarf the rest of my figures.

It is expensive, has a some goofy mechanics, needs proprietary stat cards, and the minis are huge. The figures are really good looking and fun to paint, but they are almost 40mm tall with another 5mm for the base.

I played one game. It was interesting enough that I bought the sets that made the Firefly crew so I could join in local games. But it never did catch on here.

I have the original game. It is a lot of fun. But it changed companies two or three times. Then they made changes to the rules so I can't use any of the new figures that have come out. Still, I do play it. But, no, to answer your question, it never took off with who I play with.

I would only be interested in the figures -- I don't need the rules or fluff. I've got too much to do without jumping into a figure size that is incompatible with the rest of my figures, but some of them do look pretty cool…
