You were asked – TMP link

Curious, of all the Osprey Publishing rulesets, which one is "best" overall, considering all periods and scales?

And in the final round of voting…

25% said "Lion Rampant"
16% said "Bolt Action"
14% said "The Men Who Would Be Kings"

Isn't Bolt Action from Warlord, not Osprey?

The most recent books have both Osprey Games and Warlord logos on the covers. link

I still fail to understand why Xenos Rampant wasn't included in this survey.

Mark, It was not out at the time of that original question was asked.

I feel that Xeno would have beaten Lion for the best set.

I am willing to bet the Osprey game series Undaunted may trump all of these in terms of sales.

It probably wouldn't fit the list however because it sold as a boardgame, not a miniatures ruleset. Some of my boardgame friends like it better than Memoir 44, which has quite its own following.

Lion Rampant is great, and gave birth to a host of popular spin-offs.

But for every Rampant success there's a Broken Legions or World Aflame…..
