Here are some pictures of my GHQ M4A1 Shermans. I actually have a company plus that are painted. This includes both the M4A1 76mm plus the M4A1 75mm.

On my M4A1 75mm I have some hulls with the three piece transmission covers and some with the single piece transmission covers. For turrets, most have the applique armor although I did a couple with the bulged turret as well. I tried to give a bit of variety to the unit.

Can one ever have enough Shermans? Are those really 1/285? That's really amazing work! Wish my 15mm looked that good!

Unbelievable. You'd never believe those are as small as they are.

The amazing thing is – your patience putting on all those tiny decals.

That attention to detail in this scale. Some have the applique turret armour and some have the bulged cheek instead and no pistol port. You cannot be too obsessional about Shermans, but it takes years to get there.

Next time sneak a Super Sherman in. Yes I had to have a 90mm Sherman for my WW2 army.

Easy.

Nowt to it.

Impressive would have been Free French 2eme DB with names along the side of the sponsons, numbers on the turrets, hand painted. Yellow or white, or even white outlined in green for 501 RCC. Divisional emblems of the French map on blue. Snag was they did not have too many M4A1s early on, as in 44 and never got the M4A1 76.

OK, seriously, I will go back to my earlier comment. These beat my 1/72 2eme DB Shermans any day. The highlighting on the suspension is great and an inspiration

Thank you all very much for your kind comments. I really appreciate it.

I did get some tank nickname decals from Flight Deck Decals not too long ago. I have some more M4A1s, M4A3s, and the new M4s by GHQ to paint up at some point. I will add some names to my tanks for even more variety.
