I love it. WWI cruisers do not get enough love. Good looking ships and write up!

Really nice models (and with masts at that scale?! Well done!) – can I ask where they are from?

Thanks both. Cruisers are the Cinderellas of the period but exciting to play with. The models are from a range which I m likely to release over the next year or so through Ark Royal Miniatures/Warfare Miniatures.

Eek! I am so excited! Are you going to do the whole navies, or just cruisers etc.? I always thought 1/4800 was the ideal scale; the options up until now have been fairly limited, so over the years I have amassed fleets in 1/3000 which have little realistic chance of being used and may end up in the bin if 1/4800 takes off.

I am hoping to persuade the designer to finish off the range which is already started as you can see. There are about 40-50 ships already designed mostly cruisers and destroyers. I will post a pic of Queen Elizabeth Class

Lovely! Looking forward to this.

Interesting game concept as cruisers, particularly the light ones, were normally attached to the battle fleets and got little chance for independent action. I have all the ships at Jutland except some Cls and DDs. It is awkward to play except on a large room floor and the old back and knees can't handle that any longer. Best wishes for the success of your new line.

Thanks, way to go before we're ready to release but it is a fairly massive project. I'll get some more games in with the MJ12 rules which are quite fun.
