I probably wouldn't participate in any of them. Gaming fiction would be at the bottom of my interest list. Battle reports and rules reviews would be at the top. That is assuming that the rules review is a proper review and has some substance. I've read too many "they were really fun and I liked them" reviews. |

Actually, contests are a great way to nudge people to post and provide ideas and information on a topic. People have a specific topic (which helps) and a deadline (which helps). Terrain. Which might fit under a couple in the OP. It would be cool to run a series of contests on the same theme. Game fiction, then scenario design, then terrain, then scratchbuild/kitbash, then figure painting on say Medieval Raiding Party or Intrepid Space Patrol Search and Rescue. |
