Today I came across Bandai's newer collection of "Gashopon" capsule "toys". In reality these are pre-painred snap-fit models that are fully articulated. YouTube link YouTube link Just search under Bandai insect for video reviews of these excellent models.

I broke down and ordered a scorpion kit off of eBay.
