I have these rules, indeed some nice optional period flavor but they have figure intense units for me and the gameplay just wasn't what I was looking for.

Thanks for your review.

Ten stats per unit? I think I'll pass, unless I see it in action.

Every time you change a rule set, there's all sorts of paraphernalia you need – special dice, new charts, markers etc not to mention adding or losing figures. It's never a small undertaking.

If I was in the market for an ECW rule set, I might consider these but as 'Victory without Quarter' seems to be working well for us, I won't.

I enjoyed reading your review.

hmm? maybe as I am not sold on Pikeman's Lament and still like Folorn Hope (I see musketry as clunky).I may dip my toe int' water.
Some Chinese firms do die quite cheaply… may jump in(a dice is a dice)

KYPD I appreciate your continued reviews of ECW rules. Really helps and fair assessment. Thank you.

Thanks for the review. That set looks like a lot if work and, on the whole, just strikes me as pretty off-putting.

Thanks again KYPD for an excellent analysis. 79thPA has the truth of it. I'll keep looking for a new set for the era.
