Greg Salvador and I met up for a friendly and fun game of MESBG this afternoon at Heroes Retreat in San Antonio Texas. Greg is practicing for next weekends tournament using his 700pt Elven force. I met him with Kamul and an Easterling army. Greg fielded a mounted Glorfindal.

The game started with the Easterlings advancing towards the Elven line, the first turn of archery killed 4 Easterlings. Turn 2 killed 2 more, and then the bows went silent. The Kataphracts charged but caused no damage, however Amdul took down 2 Elves while Kamul killed another 2.

The next few turns went back and forth with both sides losing, but the Elves getting the upper hand. Kamul and Amdul continued to do damage but Glofindal and his army broke the Easterlings. The following turn the Easterling Army bonus of +1 to courage when broke proved its worth when no Easterlings left the field.

The fighting continued with the Easterlings losing no ground.
The game went another turn when I failed to end the game, this turn proved no change, followed by a roll of 2 to end the game. The Easterlings held 3 objectives while the Elves held 1, for an Easterling win.
