I have a can of green spray paint that is now in its death throes. It still paints, but it sputters a lot, the paint looks lumpy but dries smooth, though very translucent.

What is surprising is that this can has somehow survived, in regular usage, for about twelve years. I know because I remember where I bought it, and that dollar store went out of business twelve years ago!

Furthermore, it's a mini-can of spray paint!

It's like the miracle of spray paint.

I can't explain it. I just marvel. grin

I have a tin of Humbrol Gun-Metal enamel that I bought 48-50 years ago, and it is still good to go for detailing and dry-brushing.
