Hi,
which difference between DH and DH2?
Thanks

This is a link to the KS that ran several years ago for DH2. The description goes into the Similarities and Differences between the old and new.

I own and have played both versions. I like both but the new added some some stream lining that wasn't my favorite. So I just use the older version of the rule.

It is still my favorite WW2 reinforced platoon scale game.

Older versions are almost inevitably better than newer versions, in my long experience.

I found the system to be too random in outcomes. Luck trumping tactics often enough to be irritating. Reading over the description of the changes in the second edition doesn't make me think they have changed that in any way.

I did have a look but it lost me when it said artillery on a board 50m to 100m wide. Typically a danger close is 200 yds. Was there a typo somewhere?
