The San Antonio chapter of the Lone Star Historical Miniatures held its annual Summer Muster on 29 July. As part of the muster we hosted a mini-tournament of 2 games. We had 14 signed up but a few had to cancel. All in all a great time, with some new players, one guy driving five hours from Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Special thanks to Warlord Games who provided some great prizes for the event.

There were a couple of younger guys who have played many games and enjoyed playing in their first major tournament – its good to see younger players enjoying historical war-gaming.

Brian Verrett and his son MJ had been playing against each other and decided to play in their first tournament – looks like they are having a good time.

The best part of the tournament was the awarding of prizes, Mr. Nate Culver, who finished second overall, waived his prize selection and awarded it to MJ, who picked up a British Airborne box!
