Is it just me, or was Warhammer the old world originally called Warhammer the olde world?

I'm sure I saw it in the original GW articles.

I remember noting the spelling and how, while it seemed pretentious, was also in keeping with some of their styling. I particularly thought of the Mordhiem fluff.

Does anyone else remember seeing it spelt this way?
