"Four survivors escaped the hell of Denver, which was completely sealed off by the National Guard a few weeks ago. But all efforts came too late. Not only had the major cities collapsed, the entire country perished and is now dominated by the living dead.
Those who managed to escape are looking for refuge or want to reach their families and friends. The small group has made it from Colorado to Nebraska, avoiding all highways and making their way through the sparsely populated backcountry. The destination of the journey is Minneapolis, but at the moment they are not even halfway there. And now the group runs out of gas and the battered truck rolls out with the last drops on a dirt road near a small settlement…"
