Thanks for these latest reports. I'm enjoying following your exploration of BBB. In my comment on the blog itself, I mentioned Montebello (1859). That's always my #1 recommendation as a great 'training scenario'. It's a relatively small and simple table to set up; both sides' forces arrive gradually, so new players aren't overwhelmed at the start and can get the hang of the rules; it's a lovely contrast of two very different armies; and it's an intriguing tactical challenge for both sides. Plus you evidently have some Austrian whitecoats, so it's an obvious one to do, really! |
