I was reminded since the sad but hopefully temporary closing of Legio Heroica it isnt as easy to find good 15/18mm Ottoman Turks. I recently saw some product photos of the Old Glory 15s Ottomans.

Anyone use this Old Glory 15s range for Ottomans? Size comparison to other ranges such as Essex Renaissance, Venexia,Blue Moon (GNW) and Legio Heroica Ottomans?

No idea about Old Glory's ottomans, but I've recently purchased some from Khurasan miniatures and found them to be quite compatible with those of Legio Heroica – foot troops at least. As for mounted miniatures not so sure, although those bought from Khurasan were light cavalry, so perhaps horses were a smaller on purpose.

Worth to be considered those from AB/Eureka, from their napoleonic range. Just a little bit larger, but still compatible to my humble opinion (and absolutely brilliant!).

Old Glory Ottomans are nice and on the hefty side of 15mm.
If you like Old Glory (I do) you know that they are animated figures that paint up quite well.

I too just picked up the entire SYW range listing of them and loved the quality. VERY clean castings!

If anyone is interested I have about 1000 castings of Ottomans (old glory 15's) that I am looking to sell. I will never get around to painting them. Send me a PM if interested.

"Old Glory Ottomans are nice and on the hefty side of 15mm."

But not anywhere as big as Blue Moon or even Venexia.

I haven't ordered from Legio in over a year and was unaware of their unfortunate happenings. I do hope they are able to recover and reopen. Theirs would be yet another sad loss to the industry.

I recently traded away a bag of the OG15 Ottoman Turk artillery, along with some Essex figures.

Good figures, not as big as Blue Moon, but decent.
