Hi! After the Early Imperials Romans, let's have a look at one of their most famous enemies, the Early Germans.

Which one do you like best: the Romans or the Germans ?

More pictures and explanations on the blog as usual: philotepsfigures.blogspot.com/2023/07/dba-early-germans.html

The Germans make a great looking army.

What a difficult choice you have given us Phil!

I am a fan of 1/72 plastics, mainly because they are to my eyes usually anatomically convincing. I'm going to dodge the choice and say my favourite would be a battle with both.

A hopelessly unhelpful answer I know, but one I'm reaching for because of your superior brush work.

Very well-painted and based. I also have a 1/72 German army to fight my legions. Great period; great figures!

Thank you for your comments!

@Lets party with Cossacks: I intend to play a DBA game with both armies before the end of summer… if I can convince my son to try a historical game :) And I will take a picture and write a report, of course.

@Legionarius: Oh oh, is it possible to see your armies somewhere on the net ?
