The second ship completed, HMS Mary an English 3rd rate. Originally built in 1650 as Speaker she carried 50 guns but was later named in 1660.

Very kind fellas, wargaming standard really, I stand in awe of what some people can do with these Langton models.

2 down, 158 more to go! grin

ADW battles were BIG!

That looks a bit better than "wargaming standard". You have shading, paint is all inside the lines, and it's rigged. The base is even textured! Is that a Langton base?

Thanks Admiral, yes Langton base. Don't tell e how many are yet to be painted I'll get depressed. It's the sort of project you dip in and out of!

Excellent work.

There are some fascinating actions in the Mediterranean and Caribbean Seas that would make good scenarios. They don't require a lot of ships.

Best Age of Sail period to game. No navy dominated like in the Napoleonic era that everyone else wants to game.

So colourful as well, enjoying painting them up.

Really nice paint job… But, I hate to bring it up…

You accidentally mixed up the spritsail with the Mizzen top.

LOL

I didn't even notice the spar at the waterline until now.
