Stumbled across a small nail file rotary tool at the Dollar Tree this morning. Haven't got to test it on mold lines yet, but there was a similar tool from there over a decade ago that worked okay on minis so hopefully this budget option will be worthwhile (heck, it's $1.25 USD).

I'll post my findings after I have some.

It's pretty good at making short work of mold lines on plastic. Straight line areas are the best results but it can get into some more intricate parts with care. I think it will save a little time compared to a file.

For the price I think it's worth a try (you'll need to get a AA battery too if you don't have any).

I don't see it on the Dollar Tree website. What is it called exactly?

It's Sassy+Chic Electronic Nail kit.

I found it on Ebay- auction
Maybe it's too new to be on the Dollar Tree site yet?

Went to two DT's before I found one. I have a mini power grinder & the grinder bits to that also fit the DT tool thumbs up
The only 'problem' was that the screw holding the battery cover on stripped the hole & wouldn't come out, but once it was removed, the cover stays on fine by itself.
Now I just need to find something to try it on… ;-)
