My old painting 'Therapy' blog has been going for 13 years now and was started as a means of helping my battle with depression. Since then I must have painted just about every period and scale but currently I'm focused on 3mm armies for DBA rules (alongside a lot of commission work!). I'm not touting for more business here as more than enough to handle but rather offering the blog as an interesting browse for those who enjoy seeing nicely painted soldiers!

Cheers,
Lee.

They are EXCELLENT! Do you share any painting tips on your blog? I'd love to see your approach to painting 3mm. I have yet to start on my Ancients.

Thank you

John

Some lovely work on your blog, really lovely indeed. I got caught up for a while looking back at some of your stuff :)

How do you decide for the 3mm DBA bases how many strips you will use per base?

Durban Gamer – thank you very much :)

John Leahy – thank you :) Maybe I should write a post about how I approach painting both 3mm and 2mm figures because I use the same method for both. Below are a couple of photos of 2mm DBA armies that each fit in a small cigar box!

Korsun0 Appreciate your comments. From experience playing DBA with 15mm figures in the past I know what each base represents at a glance so basically in 3mm I'm aiming to get that mass effect which means 48 close order (pikes.blades. spears) per base, maybe 3 open ranks for mediums etc. Warbands just random etc.

Thanks Lee, I get your meaning and I can say you have certainly achieved that mass effect.

I'll second John's request for tips on your technique :)
