I noticed these were available again a few weeks ago and sent an order to get more of these unique 15mm creatures and the Try-to-Survive-a-Saurus rules. The packs included 1 of everything except the Postosuchus, since I already have that model and other 10/15mm "pseudo-crocs" from other manufacturers that are also appropriate for that particular time frame. The Cynodonts (Permian-Triassic dog things) and the Placerias (Permian and later Cow-o-saurs") are the only models available in a similar size. The game marker set is useful for many prehistoric games and feature a dead Placerias and a dead small theropod Coelophysis that looks mummified by the brutal dry season of Pangea. |

The other manufacturers of triassic models are Khurasan (Saurosuchus) and Magister Militum 10mm Saurosuchus and Coelophysis. The Saurosuchus can be used alongside or as a stand-in for Postosuchus since the two were fairly similar terrestrial predators and rhe 10mm Coeophysis works as a stand-in for most small wiry dinosaurs and the 15mm with 10mm models are fine together on the table. Otherwise I use a few plastic toys from the Safari prehistoric crocodiles toob and a Kaiyodo Phytosaur Rutiodon capsule toy that I found on eBay. |
