Looking for some P & R fences in 20mm, as opposed to 15mm or 28mm. Paper Terrain has some nice ones but I'd rather have them in metal or resin. Paper would be a last resort. Hopefully some of the TMP faithful can point me in the right direction, saving me some time-consuming research. Thanks in advance. |

Yes, posting to the Ancients Products Review was a boo-boo. |

Atlas makes a 3 rail fence in plastic, HO scale. |

Ritter, Thanks for the link, but that's not a Post and Rail fence. That's a Snake Rail or Split Rail fence. I've made a number of them using wooden craft sticks. Fiddly work. I don't want to put in the time and effort to make enough fencing for an 8'x6' table if I can possibly avoid it. The P and R has four or five horizontal poles that fit into holes in the fence posts. A good example are the fences along the Emmitsburg Road at Gettysburg. I'd post a photo if I could, but unfortunately I lack that capability. |

Stoss, Now that looks nice. Not exactly what I'm looking for(only three rails) but that certainly may do in a pinch if I can't find anything else. Plus there's 72" worth of fence. Thanks. |

88mm, Yep been there. They have the 3 rail fence Stoss mentioned, but are PRICEY. Double of what I found at a couple of other places. |

There must be a good reason no one has said this yet, but I would absolutely scratch build this. You may need a lot, it's not cheap, save all that money for figures, rules, and dice. At 20mm toothpicks would look like logs, so I think I'd use wire. Pin the rails to the work surface with blue tack. Dip each post in CA glue and place with tweezers. A little trimming with the flush cutters after the glue dries, hit it with primer, glue it to a base. What am I overlooking? |

Andrew Walters, +1 No one seem to want to scratch build anymore. I on the other hand scratch build just about everything but figures. |
