Hi! Today I would like to show you a version of Conan the Cimmerian in 1/72.
First, Conan surrounded by fellow mercenaries, emerging from the woods:

A close-up to Conan himself, all muscles:

More pictures and comments on the blog, where you will read more about the versatility of these figures that can be used in various universes, including some Confrontation's Kelts in soft plastic: philotepsfigures.blogspot.com/2023/07/conan-cimmerian-and-other-barbarians.html

Thank you all for your comments. I will try to pictures the adventures of Conan in the future – an occasion to read the books by R. Howard that I don't really know.

So I mostly paint 15mm, and Im always afraid to add enough contrast to things from dark to light. Nice job on making him look very muscular. Looks fun!

Contrast is not an easy thing to set. Because I was afraid of painting clowns instead of ordinary people, my first figures (I mean for the 15 first years :)) were a bit dull, in spite of a 3 layers (from dark to light) painting. Now I lighten the second and third layers much more, and the result looks ok.

Nice job that Cesar barbarian is a lovely sculpt do you have the other barbarian with a stone axe?

Its nice to see some painted red box Cimmerian's,not as nicely sculpted as the Cesar stuff but s great range.

Thank you Quatermass and sorry for thr late answer.
Yes I have the other barbarian from the same set, he will get some color one of these days :)
In my opinion, the Redbox barbarians are very well sculpted but not as well cast as the Caesar's.
