I was a member of the yahoo group for SLIM the rules for using squad leader for miniatures.

I am unable to find the rules that I have had in the past.

Does anyone have an idea where I could get them?

If you are using hexes, you don't need any adaptations, you can just use the rules as they are.
If not, just say 2" per hex, and then there is room to ‘stack' three squads per ‘hex'

Here's link to old Jackson Gamers with how they revised some of the procedures to fit their miniatures games FYI.

I was talking to a friend of mine who knew John Hill very well. He said John originally developed SL as a miniatures game. But when he submitted it to Avalon Hill they said they don't do miniatures so he rewrote it to be a board game.

@wolfhag.

Any chance I could get those files from you? The links above give me an error. If possible send files to zizioulas@Hotmail.com.

Cheers,
John.
