I attended a lecture on just this topic at the BFI given by the late Barry Norman. Four of his top ten seem to be missing:-
A Hill in Korea 1956
The Small Back Room 1949
The Man Who Never Was 1956
The Long and the Short and the Tall 1961
How can a list include The Wild Geese but omit so far as I can see the brilliant 1944 Henry V with an epic score by William Walton and battle scenes of Agincourt that are superb?
