Its taken a while but I have finally finished my Arnhem Bridge for the Hull & East Riding Wargames Club refight on the 16th of September.
Its about 6'6" long from end to end and needed the dockside board finishing off as well. I don't claim to be a great modeller and its not strictly accurate but I am more than happy with it as a centrepiece for the game. I know where the bodges are!!
I have added some of Raventhorpes buildings and some 20mm scale vehicles and figures to show the actual size of the thing!!
Just got to sort the rest of Arnhem out now, oh, and finish 200 or so 82nd Airborne U.S. Paras!! |

It's brilliant, but Grabner seems to be doing better here than in reality. Anthony Hopkins et al will soon put a stop to that. I want to see loots of burnt out SS recce vehicles on that bridge now. What fantastic work. |

Thank you all for your favourable comments, they are greatly appreciated. Lots of work still to do to get everything prepared. Figures still to paint and the maps still need finishing but things are falling into place! My intention is to take a lot of photos on the day of the game. I will post some here along with a brief summary of the days events. Cheers again. |
