"Real lists of real references of 25mm Minifigs "Serie S"." Topic

Hello everyone,

I own hundreds and hundreds of 25mm Minifigs "Serie S" on the "Crimean War" and "Franco – Prussian War" ranges.

These figurines are the "flower" of my collection of 25mm Minifigs (by the way, now I only have 25mm Minifigs, I sold everything else to buy even more 25mm Minifigs and if you have any to sell 25mm MiniFigs ranges " Serie S" of the "Crimean War" and "Franco – Prussian War" ranges contact me by pm, thank you) and now I am listing them.

To list them, I help myself with old MiniFigs catalogs found on the internet and I realized that for the "Crimean War" range, there is a big problem…

I have figurines that are not on the catalog and yet it is indeed figurines from the 25mm MiniFigs "Serie S" "Crimean War" range ???

For example, I have two variants of Russian Line infantry soldiers and officers ?

I have two variants of French Line infantry soldiers and officers ?

I have two variant of British heavy dragoon soldiers, ect…?

And I have artillery pieces?

Well, in my opinion, it's the catalog that is badly done because as everyone knows MiniFigs 25mm does not offer two variants by reference and there are no artillery pieces on the reference lists that I have on this range 25mm MiniFigs "Serie S" "Crimean War" ???

If someone can post on this subject a real an d good list of references of this range, it would be of great service to me…

Another oddity, I have a lot of 25mm MiniFigs "Serie S" horses with their reference number listed on or under the figure's underside and it doesn't match the figure at all (for example a horse designated as standing is running ect…) and there again I sometimes have several variants of horses with the same reference number ???

"MiniFigs 25mm does not offer two variants by reference"

But they did periodically make new, different, figures of the same subject, and give the new figures the same reference numbers. All Ancients – but I have three variants of one Minifigs figure, I forget which, with shields and spears cast on and separate, and different thickness spears.

Yes – happened also in the vfw range, because the dragonslayer weapon that hero had was too long and the casting frequently broke so they shortened. And also with the Good People standard bearer – too long a pole causing it to get bent and broken so again they shortened it. Fantasy examples but it shows that they did modify figures without changing the reference number.

Hi Paskal, there are currently 20 Turkish Crimean War soldiers on EBay in the UK, described as 'Minifigs S range'. (Although I find that most described as 'S' range are not as described.)
