Thought I would do something different to mark the Anniversary. Well different for me at any rate. So over the 1st-3rd July I'm going to watch the appropriate parts of the 1993 Movie one day at a time! Not quite the Battle in Real Time but just a nod to the event and all those who fell over those three days in 1863. |

Speaking of Gettysburg, I wonder whose brilliant idea it was to have Little Round Top closed to visitors during the 160th anniversary of the battle. |

I was there in April and both LRT and DD had some major erosion issues they were addressing. |

This was the 160th They are right about the age issue. just not getting those below age 40 much. I remember when 25,000 plus hit the Gettysburg re-enactments of the past. Now those out there should be wearing GAR ribbons. Subject: Gettysburg reenactments struggle to find reenactors link |
