Any suggestions on who sells packs of WW2 infantry "company" packs? I'm really only familiar with GHQ and prefer NOT to use their infantry. I don't like the size and look of them and to my knowledge they don't sell infantry by the "company" packs. I know of Heroics & Ros and Baccus, but not sure if they sell packs of infantry by "company" level. Nor am I familiar with their shipping times to the US. Any other considerations? Thank you |

Adler miniatures in UK do Company packs and their figures are really good. |

Not seeing on the Alder site company level packs of infantry, also, the shipping to the US is somewhat cost prohibitive. |

For Adler you need to purchase a pack of infantry, one of the light machine gun, and maybe a mortar pack, a heavy machine gun pack, the AT weapon pack, and a command strip or two to get radios. Baccus does have some company packs |

@ Greg G1 – well, 2D6 does have Germans and US, so that's a plus. I'll compare them to the others. @ Rakkasan – appreciate that info. Time to compare prices and shipping! |

H&R infantry come in what might be described as platoon packs. If you are basing at 1-to-1 unit scales (that is you want to see 8 to 10 actual figures for a squad, and 30 – 35 figures for a platoon) then you can buy three of their infantry packs and one of their support weapons packs and you'll have a company + some few battalion support weapons that might be assigned to support a company in action. Depending on the nation and the specific force TOE, of course (ie: US Infantry companies have a different TOE than Armored Infantry companies, vs. Armored Recon companies, etc.) As I do squad-basing with a bit of an abstraction on the number of actual figures (4 figures on a stand represents a squad of 8 or 10, 2 figures on a stand represents a support crew of 2 to 5, etc.) I can usually get by with one or two infantry packs and a weapons pack per company, and have enough figures left over to do crews for vehicles, maybe some scouts, etc. So far, the assortment of figures/poses/weapons types in the H&R packs are the best I've seen for building reasonable TOE units. Hope that helps. -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

Thanks Mark. It's between H&R and Baccus. Baccus seems to be a tad cheaper and at this scale I'm not sure detail is an issue at this viewing range. |

' shipping to the US is somewhat cost prohibitive.' The postal cost of an G3,(inf) GS 3A (LMG), 3C ( Tank hunters), 3D (81mm mortars), 3E (HMGs) and a couple of HQ strips cost £5.85 GBP p&p. We calculate postage at cost value. L |

CaptainCold69 - Have you made, or are you planning on, armor/transport purchases? If you are, that may impact your infantry selections due to scale. |

@AGamer – all my armor is going to be 3d resin printed. |
