I know there are a couple Facebook 6mm buy/sell pages to buy 6mm minis, but those pages are pretty dead. There isn't much on Ebay either for pre-painted armies.

Any other suggestions on where I can buy some painted up 6mm WW2 infantry/guns/armor?

Thanks

As a long time buyer of used/painted micro armor I would say…not really. Painted infantry is rarer than hen's teeth (it's amazing how many micro gamers do not have any infantry at all!). Guns (usually without crew) pop up now and then. I've had occasional luck at flea markets.

Now that I have a pretty good collection I've stopped buying and just fill in holes where I need.

I suppose using a painting service is an option.

Thanks Extra Crispy.

I was afraid of that, not being much out there for sale already pre-painted.

My paint time is limited, but I guess 6mm infantry is pretty easy to paint, so off I go to H&R to place an order.

I had a friend who bought the prone infantry from Magister Militum, and had them painted by Fernando. The figures looked awesome.

I use either Fernando or CGR

If it's a single color uni I can paint a pack of 50 6mm in an evening, once they are primed.

I use a contrast paint for the base then just touch up main bits: face and hands, boots, helmet, gun, puches and webbing. But I'm making game pieces not art.

I don't do camo on 6mm infantry.

I have to be honest – at 6mm WWII infantry they are pretty easy to paint up, especially for the not so fussy gamer – and like Extra Crispy no camo for me!

Ditto for me on the prone infantry from Magister Militum.
Prime them in the base color then I use colored pencils to detail. Done in no time at all!
In combat, the prone position is optimal. If your infantry guy is standing, he's getting shot!
Plus, they're already on a base! Saves even more time!
