You fought in the open?

Indeed! – the random Terrain system was the cause…

Herky, you need to pay attention to which general is in the picture, you are messing up my word play. Your battle was a battle of white plains re-enactment.

Not sure what you meant, but never mind!!!

White Plains is one battle I would really like to do one day, its very different from our game last Saturday!
The Americans were on the defensive, the Hudson protecting their right flank…supposedly!
The Hessians took Chatterton hill destabilising the American line, which withdrew unmolested by Howe's army.

That is a painting of General Howe if you didn't recognize it.
Sorry my humor missed the mark, on to the next bad joke then. I used white plains because it was somewhat open something not typically associated with revolutionary war battles. GMT games is going to be releasing a game about White Plains soon, I have been debating with myself on whether to buy it.

Cool! – I did recognise Howe!
I wonder how the game of White Plains could be anything other than a fighting withdrawal for the poor Continentals?.
(I think Monmouth Courthouse would be a far more challenging game to play!)
If you do get the game, it would be interesting to see what you think of it!
