The "Young Ones" was a crass, puerile but clever comedy show made in the UK in the 80s. The main characters were Rik (people's poet), Neil (hippy), Vyvyan (punk) and Mike (the cool person). It offended as many people as it amused.

I saw in the past 12 months a company had produced figures for each of the characters without actually calling them the Young Ones. I saw a review, I thought it was in WI, but can't remember. I forgot to record where I saw them for sale.

I've searched the WI site, the web and so on to the best of my ability. I've checked umpteen manufacturers but no luck. I am now going in circles.

If anyone has any idea, would they be kind enough to put me out of my misery?

thankyou
Jon.

I did a search for 28mm hippy :)

Looks like these are a different make link but no sign of the company name.

In addition to the Crooked Dice set, there is a set by Studio Miniatures. Studio recently closed but they are now sold by Hayland Terrain:

I love Flying Circus, Keeping Up Appearances, all the sketch shows: Mitchell and Webb, Fry and Laurie, Little Britain, The Fast Show, Big Train, all the Alan Partridge stuff, Day Today, all the Rowan Atkinson stuff – even Thin Blue Line. Catherine Tate, Benny Hill, Are you Being Served, but I never warmed to Young Ones or Kids in the Hall. I found watching either to be a laugh free exercise.

Still, beautiful paint jobs from Crooked Dice!

@Mirosav – thanks for that, I had no idea about those ones!

@Flashman14 – I'm almost on a par with you but didn't find Catherine Tate funny. The rest I agree with, especially "Little Britain". I don't think we'll see the likes of that again. The Young Ones was either loved or hated and I found some episodes when Alexei Sayle had a big part quite dull. But generally I chortled….and while we are on about shows what about "Porridge" or "Open All Hours"?

Hm – Haven't heard of those last two!
