Hello everyone , Where to find the manpower of each unit, all belligerents combined, for the main battles of the Crimean War? Thank you Paskal |

"Unit Organizations and Orders of Battle of the Great Armies of Europe 1853- 1870" by J.W. Brown provides Russian orders of battle for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman, and Tchernaya, as well as a broader order of battle for Russian units activated for Crimean service. French orders of battle are given for Alma, Inkerman, and Tchernaya, and an Army of the Orient order of battle for fall 1855. British orders of battle are given for Alma, Balaclava, and Inkerman as well as for the British army in summer 1855. A Sardinian order of battle is given for Tchernaya, as well as for the Sardinian army in Crimea summer 1855. Nothing for the Turkish army. All of these orders of battle provide information to regimental level, though no numbers are given; TO&E information is provided for all of these, so it should be possible to generate "ideal" units for gaming. |
