Hello! I'm visiting the area on vacation soon and was wondering, as Nottingham seems to have a pile of figure manufactures, is there a gaming related location in Nottingham that should be visited by a wandering American? Other than Warhammer World…. TIA! |

First weekend in August there is Claymore in Edinburgh, best show in Scotland then followed by the Edinburgh International Festival for all your non-gaming needs. If you haven't booked your hotel yet you are probably too late already. |

As well as Newark, Lincoln is worth a visit. There are multiple WWII RAF bomber bases and similar museums to visit in Lincilnshire. Newark has the English Civil War centre. An ECW fort called the Sconce. There is also a walk you can do around the battlefield of the battle of Stoke Field from the War of the Roses. |
