Hi,

What follows is a show report for Partizan a few weeks ago. It's taken a while to write up for reasons that should become obvious if you give it a read/look through.

Thanks Atheling!

This ACW table struck me, BIG time -

I think part of the appeal of that ACW game was that the terrain and scenery reminded me very much of Peter Gilder's ACW game Gettysburg on episode 6 Battleground on TV Apr 1978.

I think much better quality than that of Gilder. Perhaps it doesn't show up in the pictures on my blog but the level of detail Dave Andrews had gone to was sublime.

Well things have moved on a bit since the 70's to be honest. I meant the overall flavour of the terrain and the feel of the game reminded me of the cover of Battle for Wargamers with Peter leaning over the table.
