I do play a lot of games of OGRE, but even the largest Ogres are stoppable!

I've had units that were unstoppable…when routing!

I used to write DBA campaigns that gave each player an unkillable core force and territory. The idea was to avoid the "nothing to do" problem that makes players quit the game – if you always have *something*, there's always a chance of a comeback, and a reason to keep playing. This also had the neat side effect of making larger forces/kingdoms harder to control, since any kind of multi-player force is by nature chaotic and prone to disobedience.

I don't mind one unstoppable unit – but too many make a boring game

What happens if an unstoppable unit meets immovable terrain?

My guard units don't get to play as much as line units

An unstoppable unit, it must be fantasy, I don't play fantasy so unstoppable units are not possible in the real world.
