Following on from my first post a week ago, an update on my progress with the bridge for our Market Garden game in September.

First a dark grey undercoat is added to the bridge superstructure and paved areas.

Then a concrete colour is painted onto the roads. Its a bit too light but I wanted a slight contrast between the roads and the pavements.
The embankments have had a grass green basecoat.
The dockside has been painted in a black undercoat.

First washes on the concrete areas to tone them down. A bit streaky but as I progress I hope to blend everything better.
The embankments have had a sawdust/glue/green paint covering to texture them.
The dockside has been painted with a concrete colour similar to the pathways that almost matches the 30+ year old town board.

Next its on to the arty-farty bit that hopefully will bring the piece to life and finish it all off.
