Part of my continuing effort to record my 20mm collection on the Tactical Painter blog. This is my late war German armour and where possible I've tried to match the models with examples of the actual vehicles that I've managed to see in various museums. Nice work. Air brush on the Panzer IV? |

Nice work. Air brush on the Panzer IV? Thanks. Yes, used an airbrush on all of them. For the other two I used masking for the hard edge to the camouflage, the PzIV was done freehand. |

Wow so nice, well done. When you paint panzer IV's do paint the camp pattern behind the skirts? |

Wow so nice, well done. When you paint panzer IV's do paint the camp pattern behind the skirts? I'm assuming you mean the rear side of the skirts? In which case, no, I don't. I doubt the German crew painted those sides as there doesn't seem to be much point as no one can see them. Remember the vast majority of these were done in the field by the crew. |

No what I mean is the parts of the tank superstructure that are obscured by the skirts. |
