Today we had a couple of quick games of 'Galleys and Galleons' at the club, and had a fun day!

I hope you enjoy them, or at least Lawrence's lovely ships!

Been finding my homemade hulls, London dismasted lately, no idea where my sea rules ever got to. Thinking of at least a land game maybe to get to them moored and goal to destroy them.

Isn't Balls and Cutlasses a book of 18th Century Irish poetry?

The titular poem, which I'm sure we all learned in literature class, starts:

"There once was a pirate named Bates / Who tried to fandango on skates…"

(Attributed to Jonathan Swift)

I'll leave the actual balls and cutlasses part to your internet research.
