Taking a long shot here.
I'm looking for a replacement 2 oz bottle of Apple Barrel Acrylic Craft paint product #20204 "Wild Berry".
A search of the company that makes the product shows that the color has been discontinued, and I cannot find any stocks available at retailers.
If you have an extra and want to get rid of it, let me know.
Thanks.

Can you roughly describe the color? I have lots of AB paints but they're mixed in trays with other maker's paints based on broad color families.

Are we talking red, dark red, burgandyish or purple'esque?

Exeter it's a reddish/purple color, like a wine color.

See if Folk Art "True Burgandy" is close.

If I make it out to any craft stores this weekend I will see if they have any of what you are looking for.

No joy.

I've long suspected that Apple Barrel's source manufacturer has something close to no quality control. They try to approximate their last batch of a particular color, but if it's too far off, they withdraw the old color and introduce a new one.

Flesh becomes Peach. Peach becomes Sunrise Pink. Sunrise Pink becomes Coral, etc…

Yeah Murch, I'd say Burgundy as well. Check the local dollar stores they all carry craft paint these days.

Sorry, Murph, not Murch!

@nnascati

I thought about the dollar stores too, but since these bottles are $.85 USD in WallyWorld I'm not sure there is a lesser common denominator.

Sorry, Murphy. Nothing at Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

You may want to check out
plaidonline.com
– that company now owns and makes the Apple Barrel, FolkArt, and Delta Ceramcoat paint lines ('Antitrust ??? What's that ???)

If you go to the DecoArt website (their main competitor)
shop.decoart.com/resources
their 'Apple Barrel to Crafter's Acrylics Color Conversion Chart' sez to mix equal quantities of 'DCA 63 Redbird' and 'DCA 72 Purple Passion'

there's a 'Crafter's Acrylic Color Chart' at
PDF link

Bet meself, if I was mixing up a custom dark red paint, would check out
link
– less 'filler' to their pigments.

You may also want to check out
painting-crafts.com
– they often have hard-to-find colors.

Hope this helps,
